OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

35 years solving complex thermal, mechanical, and process challenges in the plastics manufacturing industry.

Operational Excellence has always been a priority throughout my career in every company I have worked for.

I strongly believe businesses should always be structured around customers' needs.

Entrepreneur

FROM STARTUP TO SUCCESSFUL OPERATIONS

In 2004, I co–founded EasyPak, a thermoforming packaging solutions operation, growing it from a startup to $45M in sales, while serving as its Operational Lead for 14 years.

Technical innovation led us to be the first plastics packaging company in the US to offer 100% recycled PET containers to the food packaging industry.

OWNER / SENIOR ADVISOR  — BIO

I bring 35 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE in leading and optimizing sheet extrusion and thermoforming operations. With an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Heat Transfer from Cornell University, I have built a career on solving complex thermal, mechanical, and process challenges in plastics manufacturing.

As HEAD OF OPERATIONS at Inversiones Selva in Venezuela, the largest cup and food packaging producer in the country, I helped grow revenue from $17M to $170M over 10 years through operational excellence, acquisitions, and a strategic merger that laid the foundation for Grupo Phoenix.

As CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER of Grupo Phoenix, I oversaw production in various manufacturing facilities in Venezuela and Colombia. I also led the expansion into Mexico by building a greenfield operation.

An executive MBA at MIT's Sloan School of Business set the stage for a new adventure. In 2004, I CO–FOUNDED and built EasyPak in Massachusetts—USA, serving as its OPERATIONAL LEAD, a thermoforming food packaging company serving the food industry that grew from a startup to $45M in annual sales over 14 years. At Easypak, I combined technical innovation with customer–focused services.

As the FOUNDER of Q–FORM, I currently serve as a SENIOR ADVISOR and MARKET DEVELOPMENT PARTNER to a series of OEMs, guiding thermoforming and extrusion companies in evaluating equipment, improving throughput, reducing scrap, and making confident capital investment decisions.

I aim to guide manufacturers in making smart and lower–risk decisions about production equipment, blending deep technical expertise, real P&L leadership, and hands–on operational experience to move companies through equipment selection, process improvement, and strategic growth.
